Pictures of John Dowd are Wallpaper Compatible!

In order for John's fans to have the hottest looking display on their computer beginning September 3rd, 2000 VRM will make Steel City Photos of John's pictures wallpaper compatible.  This means if your computer screen is set to 1024 pixels you can simply save a John Dowd photo and use it as wall paper on your computer.  All John and VRM ask is that you regularly visit John's web site and tell other people about www.johndowd.com and Virtually Real Motocross www.vrmweb.com

 

This is for personal use only! Here's how it is done.

 

How Do I get these cool pictures on my computer?

 

1)  Decide what size picture your computer will display.  To decide what you're computer is set for follow these instructions for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows 2000 users.

2) Click on "Start" on the bottom left hand corner of your computer screen.

3) Click on "Settings" on the menu.

4) Click on "Control Panel" on the menu.

5) Double click on the "Display" Icon.

6) Click on the tab "Settings".  View the pixel size your computer is set at located typically on the lower right hand of the window.  This should be 1024 x 768 to be compatible with John's photos.

7) This the screen size which your picture will down load at (1024 x 768).

8) Click on the picture you want and then the picture will appear in another web browser.

9) After the picture is fully loaded click on "File" in the upper left hand corner of your current browser window.

10) Click on the menu option "Save As" and select the directory you desire to save the picture.

11)  Now the picture is save you need to put it into your desktop settings.  Click on "Start".  Click on "Settings" on the menu.  Click on "Control Panel" on the menu.  Double click on the "Display" Icon.  Select the "Background" tab. 

12) Click on the "Browse" button and find the wallpaper you downloading in the directory you save it in.  Select the wallpaper by clicking on it and then click "OK".  Exit your control panel and you will have your desktop!

 

Note - Companies and corporations wishing to use John's personal photos must contact VRM first.  Any unauthorized use of John's photos for company and corporation use will be punishable to the fullest extent of the law!
